Target audience of NME – Averages
74% of Males are known to read this magazine, whereas only 26% are female. The average age of audiences reading this magazine was a young adult, averaging the age of 23. 42% of the audiences reading this magazine was students, these facts are important in my research as they help me to identify what age range I should make my magazine, helping me into deciding whether it should be formal/informal, what types of articles I should include etc. Also knowing that more males are attracted to this magazine than females I can decide whether I should have a male or female model on the cover, also what colour scheme I should use, which in this case would be more male colours.
